Minute Hatch Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mighty Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Minute Hatch mobile app (the “App”). Minute Hatch is designed to work without uploading your voice recordings to our servers. We only collect limited information needed to operate subscriptions and to understand onboarding performance. Your recordings stay on your device. We do not upload or store your voice recordings on our servers. Subscriptions are handled by Apple via the App Store. Analytics are sent to PostHog Cloud. We send limited product-analytics events to understand the onboarding journey. There is currently no in-app toggle to disable analytics. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
1) Voice recordings: Your speaking recordings are stored locally on your device. We do not receive, view, listen to, or transmit these recordings to our servers.
2) Subscription and purchase information (Apple App Store): If you purchase a subscription, Apple may process information such as purchase and subscription status (active/expired, renewal dates) and transaction/receipt identifiers. We do not receive your full payment card details. Payments are handled by Apple via the App Store.
3) Analytics events (PostHog Cloud): We use PostHog Cloud to understand how users move through onboarding and to improve the App. We send limited events for analytics (screen views, button taps), which may include technical data like IP address, device and app information, and timestamps. We do not intentionally send your voice recordings to PostHog.
How we use information: To provide and maintain the App (e.g., subscription status), to analyze onboarding and improve user experience (PostHog), and to detect and prevent abuse or technical issues.
Data sharing: We share information only with service providers that help us run the App—primarily PostHog Cloud (analytics). We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights and users.
Data storage and retention: Recordings are stored locally on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Analytics are retained in PostHog according to our configuration and their retention. Subscription data is retained by Apple as needed.
Further policies and choices
International transfers: PostHog may process data on servers located in different countries. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by that vendor.
Your choices: You can delete your recordings inside the App or by deleting the App from your device. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. There is currently no in-app option to disable analytics. If you do not want analytics data to be sent, you should not use the App.
Children’s privacy: Minute Hatch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps. Security: We take reasonable measures to protect information we control. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this document when changes are made.
